Wilson Farms Introduces New ACH Debit Card from Maverick
Monday, 01 March 2010

WILMINGTON, DE, February 25, 2010 -- Wilson Farms has introduced a combination ACH debit and loyalty card to their customers in the Batavia, New York market. The Red Hot Rewards Card allows Wilson Farms' customers to earn free and discounted products as well as 5% cash back on both fuel and non-fuel purchases and earn rewards every time they shop with Wilson Farms. The card also enables Wilson Farms to reduce the costs associated with accepting card payments.

Wilson Farms President and CEO Paul Nanula said, "We are delighted to provide our customers with the convenience and benefits of a Wilson Farms debit card that rewards our best and loyal customers, especially since consumers are now using debit more than credit for everyday purchases."

Wilson Farms is partnering with Maverick Network Solutions to deliver the PIN based debit card and cash back rewards. "By using Maverick's MAYPAY private label debit card, Wilson Farms does not have to make any changes to their POS systems" said Phil Valvardi, Maverick's CEO. "We have a unique solution that processes ACH debit transactions using existing configurations."

Outsite Networks delivers the loyalty solutions that provides customers with additional cash back incentives, targeted offers and rewards. Outsite is the leading provider of loyalty programs for the convenience store industry. "We know from years of experience and testing that Wilson Farms customers that use the Red Hot Rewards Card will be driven to visit the store more often, but more every visit and buy higher margin items" says Anton Bakker, CEO of Outsite Networks.

"We are especially focused on the using the ACH feature of our Red Hot Rewards Card to help control our costs to accept card payments" says Nanula. "Maverick's ACH debit capability allows us to realize significant savings compared to credit cards and even bank issued debit cards."

PORTSMOUTH — The city began offering two alternatives — one high-tech, one no-tech — to its “pay and display” parking meters on Friday.

The “iPark 2.0” electronic parking pass allows users to prepay for parking online, then activate the device — approximately the size of an EZPass transponder — and place it in their dashboard. The device permits motorists to bypass the trip to the pay and display kiosks and back, while allowing users to pay with a credit card.
